Ingredients

  • 1 cup soaked green moong dal
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1 piece green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (according to taste)
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

Instructions

    Blend soaked moong dal with cumin seeds, ginger and green chilli into a smooth batter.
    Add salt and red chilli powder.

    Spread a ladle of batter on a hot, greased griddle.
    Cook until crisp and golden on both sides.

    Finally, enjoy with green chutney and ketchup.
