The woman behind the blog
Hi, I am Surbhi — a gold medalist in Computer Science, a proud mother of two, a homemaker of fifteen years, and someone who firmly believes that an organised life leaves more room for creativity.
I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Udaipur, Rajasthan — a city that gave me an eye for colour, craft and culture. For the past fifteen years I have called Pune, Maharashtra my home, and it has given me warmth, community, and the confidence to finally start this blog.
My creativity comes from my mother. My discipline comes from my father. Together they made me exactly who I am — someone who can follow a morning routine to the minute and still find time to craft something beautiful.
My story
I graduated as a gold medalist in BE Computer Science — and then, like many women, I chose home. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to. Raising two children while running a household is the most demanding, most rewarding, most underrated job in the world. I would not trade a day of it.
But here is the thing about being a homemaker — you quietly become good at everything. You cook, you decorate, you budget, you organise, you nurse, you counsel, you teach, you design. Nobody gives you a certificate for any of it. This blog is mine.
I am — proudly — a jack of all trades. I design Indian ethnic wear, organise my home with military precision, cook fresh every single day, do DIY home decor, craft, sing, dance, follow a health and fitness routine, and still find time to share kitchen tips that actually save you time. No professional degree in any of these. Just fifteen years of doing, learning, and doing better. In fact, I even built this website myself, combining my technical background with my passion for creativity.
Whatever you say, I can do it for you — that is not a boast, it is just how I am wired. My daily routine is non-negotiable and I follow it with a consistency that would impress even the most disciplined among you.
